The Palisades Nuclear Generating Station sold

The Palisades Nuclear Generating Station was sold on Tuesday.

The former owner, Entergy, sold the plant to Holtec International.

The new owner is a firm that decommissions old nuclear reactors.

Entergy permanently shut down the reactors last monthly.

300 employees will stay on site with Holtec for the decommissioning.
