The University of Notre Dame has received a multi-million dollar grant from the U.S Department of Education.

It’s for Notre Dame Upward Bound program, which helps low-income high school students prepare for college.

The Upward Bound program gives students access to mentoring, supporting, and tutoring all year long.

They say the grant will give South Bend students access to higher education.

Just what we need, more freebies for “low income” families. We’ve already crossed the point where the cumulative value of those freebies are worth more than a full time job.

Is it any wonder that nobody wants to work anymore?
