The Indiana doctor in the abortion case involving a 10 year-old rape victim from Ohio has a clear disciplinary history.

Public records available history on the state’s medical licensing board public disciplinary website is totally clear.

Medical malpractice attorney Ashley Hadler told WTHR that Dr. Caitlin Bernard has no previous violations or disciplinary investigations or actions posted there. Those findings debunk allegations that the doctor has a history of ignoring state law.

Bernard was named in a malpractice complaint filed in April of this year that named the medical staff of Eskenazi Health claiming they were careless and negligent.

That case is not related to an abortion procedure and is still under review.
