One person is dead. Another has been arrested for their murder.

A 33-year-old woman was found, around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, in Benton Township.

Investigators say the victim was shot to death on the side of the road in the area of North Avenue and East Napier Avenue.

A 30-year-old man from Lansing has been arrested for open murder and other charges.

Witnesses told police the two were arguing in a vehicle just before the gunfire, according to WNDU.
