Two Elkhart men are accused of killing a boy in during a chase last year.

Police were called in May, 2021, to a house on McKinley Avenue, on reports of a shooting.

That’s where they found the 15-year-old boy in an alley near the home, with a gunshot wound to the neck.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Witnesses say that there were three men in a car, chasing and shooting at three men on foot.

The Elkhart Truth reports that no arrests were immediately made after the shooting.

Two men, 17-year-old Da’quavion Wiley and 20-year-old Alvin Sanders, were charged with murder on Friday for the shooting of the 15-year-old victim, whose name has not yet been released.

Interesting I can not recall not releasing a victims name after 14 months – unless they do not know who the young victim is So sad “”15-year-old victim, whose name has not yet been released.””

Why a photo of the gavel? Why not show the mugshots? What are they afraid of?
