Two St. Joseph County Officials plan to volunteer to help with lawn maintenance at Portage Manor and they’re asking for the help of residents.

County Commissioner Derek Dieter and County Councilman Robert Kruszynski are volunteering for the first time on July 28 at 10 a.m.

The Portage Manor Administrator says that they appreciate community volunteers and want to give back to the community by improving the property.

Citizens can volunteer as much as they want and whenever they want to help cut grass and maintain the lawn.

Those who wish to help are asked to contact Commissioner Dieter.
