The eastbound lanes of the Toll Road are now open as the westbound lanes close for restoration following a washout near Exit 96 on Thursday.

Crews worked through the night to reopen the eastbound lanes near the C.R. 17 exit in Elkhart County.

The eastbound lanes will be used by travelers in both directions as crews now work to restore the westbound lanes.

The ramp at Exit 96 will only be restricted from entering the Toll Road traveling west, Indiana Toll Road announced.

It’s not known how long the traffic disruption will take to complete.
