A man from New Jersey could face life in prison for “grooming” a minor from Indiana.

22-year-old Arnold Castillo of Paterson, New Jersey allegedly began chatting on social media with an underage girl in February.

He began to send her gifts and money in hopes that she would have sex with him, according to investigators.

In May, he convinced the girl to travel across state lines to meet him in person.

After being traced through an Uber payment, social media, and an online retailer, investigators found the girl in Castillo’s home and brought her back to her mother.

Castillo was promptly arrested, and if convicted, faces up to life in prison.
