The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a hiring event for patrol officers.

It’s taking place on August 24 at 5 p.m.

Those interested in the event are asked to fill out an application on the Elkhart Sheriff’s Office website.

At the event, candidates will take a physical agility test and a written exam.
