A man was arrested after allegedly shooting another man during an argument in St Joseph County.

It happened on April 26, when a victim says he was at his ex-wife’s house, when he got into an argument with her boyfriend, Jerrell Moore.

Officials say that the two went outside, then Moore shot the victim, injuring his face.

ABC 57 News reports that Moore left before police arrived.

Detectives found Moore at the hospital the next day, April 27, from an unrelated incident.

He was arrested on charges of battery by means of a deadly weapon.

He is due back in court on September 6.
