A man has pleaded guilty to the murder of an elderly woman in home by Angola.

Wilma Ball was found in her home with stab wounds on her neck and other injuries, including indications of sexual assault.

At the scene were men’s socks and beer with her neighbor Matthew Hoover’s DNA.

As part of an agreement, Hoover pleaded guilty on Monday to murder and burglary and had charges of rape and abuse of a corpse dropped.
