Argos girl, 17, killed in crash in Marshall County

A teenage girl died in a crash in Marshall County.

The two-vehicle collision happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the intersection of U.S. 31 and 18th Road when police say 17-year-old Emily Carr of Argos was traveling eastbound and was struck by a southbound vehicle.

Carr was pronounced dead at the scene. Several other people were hurt and taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Factors that led to the crash are still being investigated.
