A search warrant led officers to find marijuana and handguns in a South Bend apartment.

It happened on Thursday when officers found a man with an active warrant at an apartment on North Falcon Street.

When they arrived, they found Chekir Bowers, who is alleged with a street gang in the area.

ABC 57 News reports that Bowers smelled strongly of pot and claimed to be high.

Officers were given a search warrant, and found a black loaded handgun ammunition magazine, a quantity of marijuana, a handgun under the stove, and a Glock branded handgun with a switch.

Bowers was previously convicted for carrying without a license.

“a Glock branded handgun with a switch.”

Uh oh, that will get him in worse trouble than any drugs or violence charges. The goobermint wants to maintain their monopoly on armaments at all costs!

Assuming that switch is one that goes from “pew” to “pewpewpewpewpew”…
