A man was arrested after being caught at the scene of a burglary in South Bend.

It happened on July 26, when officers were called to the 3200 block of Lincoln Way West on reports of a burglary at a sports store.

The owners of the store say that someone forced their way in and that money was missing from the cash register.

On August 9, officials were called to the 2300 block of Lincoln Way West for the burglary of a restaurant.

ABC 57 News reports that police were called to a third burglary on the same street.

On August 13, at a florist shop on the 3900 block, they found 27-year-old Jose Tirado, who they say was wearing the same outfit from the first two burglaries.

He allegedly admitted to breaking into the previous two stores.

He was arrested on burglary charges and is set for a hearing in September.
