A man was arrested after allegedly trying to steal from Walmart three times in one day.

South Bend Police were called to the Walmart in the 700 block of Ireland Road on reports of theft.

An employee told police that the man, 39-year-old Andrew Myers, pushed a cart filled with  $214 worth of items toward the exit, without paying for them.

He was stopped.

ABC 57 News reports that Meyers left Walmart and came back a second time, trying to take items from the store, worth $423.

Employees allegedly took the cart.

That’s when Meyer’s grabbed a third cart, worth $382, and headed to the exit.

He was stopped by police and arrested for theft.

I think a more amazing headline would be “member of protected class arrested after first attempt at stealing several hundred dollars in merchandise”, but that will never happen in today’s cancel culture world.
