Man, woman found dead from gunshot wounds in North Drive home in Elkhart

A man and woman were found dead inside a home in the 200 block of North Drive in Elkhart.

Police were called around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28 and found the two, who had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.

They were both pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.

The shootings are believed to be an isolated incident, and there is believed to be no immediate danger to the public.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit will be conducting the investigation, and all further inquiries regarding the status of the investigation should be directed to the Homicide Unit.
