WalletHub releases report of Hardest-Working States

With Americans working an average of almost 1,800 hours per year and leaving an average of 4-point-6 days off unused last year, the personal-finance website WalletHub has released its report on 2022’s Hardest-Working States in America.
Their survey shows Indiana among the top of their list where Americans work the hardest. WalletHub compared the 50 states across ten key metrics.
The data set ranges from average workweek hours to share of workers with multiple jobs to annual volunteer hours per resident.
The study shows the Hoosier State ranked 10th for employment rate and 16th for number of volunteer hours served.

23rd – Avg. Workweek Hours
30th – Avg. Commute Time
10th – Employment Rate
17th – Share of Workers with Multiple Jobs
16th – Annual Volunteer Hours per Resident
