It’s the first Friday of the month and South Bend is celebrating, with “Dog Days of Summer”.

You and your furry friend are invited to Downtown South Bend.

The event includes booths with animal rescue groups, with goods and services for animals.

They’ll also have ways to dine with your dog at a pet-friendly patio.

The 200 block of South Michigan Street will be closed between Jefferson Wayne from noon until 12:30 for the block party on September 2.
