A Pulaski County Correctional Officer was arrested for allegedly having a relationship with an inmate.

It happened on Friday, when the sheriff’s office received reports of a relationship between the officer, Stacy Small, and an inmate.

ABC 57 News reports that Small brought controlled substances into the jail and gave the substance to the inmate.

Small told officers that she had planned to be in a relationship with the inmate once he was released from jail.

She was arrested and taken to the White County Jail on charges of trafficking with an inmate and official misconduct.
