South Bend has stricter rules for filing pieces of legislation for the city.

The new bill was passed on Monday night, with all but one vote in favor.

ABC 57 News reports that the changes are to chapter 3, article 1 of the municipal code.

It updates language, using councilmembers rather than councilmen.

There is also an outlined deadline for filing resolutions, which includes being signed off by the chair of the standing committee.

“It updates language, using councilmembers rather than councilmen.”

Stricter? More like woke garbage.
