A Sturgis woman was convicted of possession of methamphetamine and possession of hydrocodone after a one-day jury trial.

The St. Joseph Prosecutor’s Office reports that Stephani Webb, 52, was found guilty on Tuesday.

The Michigan Department of Corrections and Three Rivers Police Department conducted a parole check on Aug. 30 in the 200 block of E. Michigan Ave.

Reports say Webb was found hiding under blankets in a bedroom.

During their search, officers found methamphetamine pipes, methamphetamine, and hydrocodone, reports stated.

Webb will face up to 10 years in prison. Her sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 21.
