It will be while longer before we find out whether a 14-year-old boy arrested after the shooting death of a St. Joseph County correctional officer will be waived to adult court.

The teen, and his older brother, 17-year-old Braxton Bird, were arrested last month.

The older boy is charged with murder.

The younger boy was in court, late last week, but his hearing was continued.

Rhema Harris died in June after the drive-by shooting off of Milburn Avenue.

Both boys are being held at the Juvenile Justice Center.
