Indiana is ranked 17th in a recent study by Wallethub called “2022’s Best and Worst States for Teachers.”

WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia on 24 indicators of teacher-friendliness. Their data set ranged from teachers’ income growth potential to the pupil-teacher ratio to whether the state has a digital learning plan.
