Marcellus woman, semi driver injured in crash on US 12 & Union Road

A Marcellus woman crashed into the front of a semi after police say she failed to yield while turning toward Union Road from U.S. 12.

The collision happened around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 27.

The semi crashed into a power line pole and sign after being struck by the vehicle.

The 44-year-old woman was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment. The semi driver was taken to Elkhart General Hospital.

Factors into the crash are still under investigation.
