Indiana U.S. Senate race may be closer than expected

(95.3 MNC)

A new poll is shedding some light on how the U.S. Senate race in Indiana may be closer than many realize.

The IndyPolitics/AEW Strategies poll asked 600 likely voters throughout Indiana how they will be voting come November.

39-percent said they support incumbent Sen. Todd Young, 37-percent support Democratic challenger Tom McDermott, and 6-percent like the Libertarian James Sceniak.

17-percent were undecided.

The results are similar to a poll released earlier this summer by the McDermott campaign.

RINO Todd Young is so bad he’s going to lose… to a Democrat… in Indiana… during a RED WAVE year!

Indiana GOP, stop being milquetoast and start fighting for conservative values! It’s too bad you didn’t let a conservative primary Young, because now you stand to lose that seat entirely…

Toad Young is a loser. He’s been hiding under his desk for 5-years only to emerge just in time for the election with a flurry of bills/votes including voting for more gun control. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Like Dicky Luger, Toad Young likely has a cadre of leftie permanent congressional staff working for him. HE does not abide by his oath of office. He votes for spending and other stuff that is not found among the 18 enumerated powers of congress in Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution. He has not earned my vote.

Sometimes you have to vote for lesser of the two evils. Your protest vote may just end up changing the majority in the U.S. Senate. I know it sucks and we deserve a better candidate who represents Indiana’s values.
