Annual Michiana Chili Cook-Off to be held at Martin’s Super Market

The 24th Annual Michiana Chili Cook-Off is set for 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, at Martin’s Super Market at Heritage Square in Granger.

A variety of local restaurants and organizations, including Notre Dame Catering, Bistro 9-33, Unity Gardens, Ivy Tech, Martin’s, Fiddler’s Hearth and Hotel Elkhart will offer sample size portions of their chili and compete for the 2022 Michiana Chili Cook-Off traveling Trophy.

Local celebrity judging with your vote will take place with first, second and third place winners announced at 4:30 p.m.

Trophies will also be given out for best decorated booth.

There’s live music, corn hole, a beer tent and more. Tickets are $10 each.

Kids 10 and under can get in for $5.

The proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
