Some confusion about early voting in Elkhart County

There has been some confusion about early voting in Elkhart County.

The confusion stems from a misprint on post cards that were mailed to voters. The cards listed polling locations for both early voting and the general election, but didn’t specify the early voting locations in Elkhart and Goshen.

The Elkhart County Clerk told WNDU it was due to a printing error and, there wasn’t enough money budgeted to send out corrected cards.

In Elkhart, voters can cast early ballots at the Lincoln Center inside the Elkhart County Health Department. In Goshen, they can go to Goshen First Presbyterian Church on East Lincoln Avenue.

Other locations for early voting in Elkhart County include Middlebury Church of the Brethren in Middlebury and First Brethren Church in Nappanee.
