City of South Bend and United Way of St. Joseph County have renewed a third round of the Quality Improvement Grants for local early childhood providers.
Applications are now being accepted and will be awarded $500-$15,000 to early childhood care and education programs within the City that demonstrate a commitment to pursue, advance or maintain a level of Paths to Quality™ and are in an area of high need.
The program aims to boost the number of high-quality childcare slots in South Bend by providing financial assistance to eligible providers. Since the program was established in 2019, the City has awarded 50 grants to local early childhood programs.
Interested childcare providers should go to www.uwsjc.org/quality for more information and to apply.
