Teenager killed in Marshall County after being ejected, struck by another vehicle

A 16-year-old boy died in a crash in Marshall County.

The collision happened around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, on U.S. 6, east of Kenilworth Road, when a westbound pickup truck lost control and was struck by an SUV.

Martin Bontrager of Topeka was in the pickup truck and was ejected. He landed in the ditch and was struck by another vehicle that swerved off the road.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating factors into the crash.
