Pedestrian killed after being stuck by vehicle in St. Joseph Township

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a by a vehicle in St. Joseph Township in Michigan.

The person was hit around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, in the southbound lane of Niles Road near Royalton Heights.

St. Joseph Charter Township Police investigators say it was dark at the time and the pedestrian was wearing dark-colored clothing. They died at the scene.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
