Police in South Bend are investigating what’s being called a “suspicious death.”

Officers were called around 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, to the 3300 block of Douglas Road, which is east of State Road 23.

A man was found dead in a parking lot.

Due to the nature of the man’s injuries, the South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation into the man’s death.
