Three people injured in a shooting on W. Calvert Street in South Bend

Three people were injured in a shooting in South Bend.
Police were called just before 1 a.m. to the 2800 block of W. Calvert Street.
Upon arrival, officers located three individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics arrived on-scene and immediately rendered aid to the victims. Details regarding the status of their injuries will be released in a later update.
The South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit is handling this ongoing investigation.
At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no further threat to the community, according to police.
