South Bend International Airport to host 11th Annual Bears in the Air event

South Bend International Airport’s 11th Annual Bears in the Air takes flight on Friday evening, Dec. 2.

The party, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., will take place in the SkyWest hangar located east of the terminal building.

The goal of the night is to raise funds to provide newly purchased teddy bears to children in area hospitals.

Admission to the party is $30 per person at the door which will provide a bear to a child in area hospitals, including Beacon Children’s Hospital, Elkhart General Hospital, Saint Joseph Health System and A Rosie Place for Children.

The program also supports Veterans who have served the country and are now in need of our support.

Attendees will enjoy light refreshments, cocktails, music, and door prizes.

– $100 gift card to Cafe Navarre
– Gift basket from The South Bend Chocolate Company
– An overnight stay for two with breakfast at Aloft South Bend plus two tickets to Drop Comedy
