If you have any information on Garvin Roberson, contact the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department or call 911. The Silver Alert was issued one day before Mayor Roberson was set to announce his re-election campaign. The Mayor’s campaign committee released the following statement:

I am sending this email to you to let you know we have postponed the event for Mayor Rod at the Lerner Crystal Ballroom for tomorrow evening, Nov. 29, at 5:00. Unfortunately, Mayor Rod’s brother, Garvin Roberson, is still missing, and circumstances have us all preoccupied at the moment. Another date will be set and I will send out information to you.
