Berrien County Sheriff’s Office warns of phone scammers

If you get a phone call from somebody who says they’ve from the Berrien County Sherriff’s Office, it’s probably a scam.

That’s the word from the real Berrien County Sheriff’s Office.

They say the scammer’s caller ID spoofs their phone number, as well. The scammer tells the person who answers the phone there’s a warrant for their arrest and immediate bond is needed.

Again, don’t fall for it. It’s a scam.
