Weather to slowly improve starting on Christmas Day

Don’t be in a Christmas rush. Roads will still be slick and snow-covered but conditions will continue to improve. Temperatures warm stubbornly into the teen Christmas Day, then into the 20s Monday and above freezing Wednesday. This is not a lasting deep freeze. We will ring-in the New Year, wet and into 50s.

Your ABC 57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Center Forecast:

Christmas Day: Cold. Showers ending in the morning. Wind gusts up to 25 mph. High 12.

Monday: Show Showers. High 20.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 22.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 38.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 46.

Friday: A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 49.
