37th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration scheduled for Jan. 16

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration and Recognition event is set for Monday, Jan. 16, at the Century Center.
There will be workshops, vendors & exhibits, musical presentations, children’s activities, and more.
This is the 37th year the celebration will take place.
The theme, this year, is  “Empowering Ourselves to Fulfill the Dream.”
The keynote speaker for the breakfast is Girard Jenkins – V.P. of Operations for the McKissack & McKissack, which is the oldest minority-owned architecture and construction company in the United States.
