Warsaw Mayor Joe Thallemer has announced he will not run for re-election.

Thallemer released a statement says 2023 will be his last year as Warsaw Mayor.

In the statement, he said his three terms have been both an honor and privilege, but after 24 years of elected office, he’s ready to spend more time with his family and serve his community in a different manner.

Before taking over the Mayor’s office, Thallemer served on the city council and on the city plan commission.
