The South Bend Police Department is warning of a new text scam.

They say text scammers are at it again, this time attempting to trick Netflix users into clicking a link to prevent a “permanent suspension” of their Netflix account.

Netflix states it will never ask users to provide personal information through a text or email.

The South Bend Police Department says to never click on links from unsolicited messages.

Netflix says that if you have concerns about your Netflix account status, you should log into your account to verify.
