A Niles sex offender failed to register and now, he’s sentenced to spend more time in prison.

It wasn’t the first time that Eric Yazell, 36, failed to register. He’s been required to register since being convicted of criminal sexual conduct in 2007.

Leader Publications reports that Yazell said he was tired of wasting his time and has kids to take care of.

He pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to 210 days in jail as well as fines and costs.
