The trial date for a Buchanan man who allegedly drove drunk and killed a Berrien County Road Department worker has been moved from February to April.
It was last summer when prosecutors say Taylor Ryan Johnson, 34, of Buchanan was traveling on on Red Bud Trail near Glendora Road.
The road department worker, William “Mack” Isom, 57, of Baroda was cutting a fallen tree when he was struck.
According to Leader Publications, Isom had worked for the road department for over two decades. Johnson’s trial has already been delayed once. He faces up to 15 years in prison and a $10-thousand dollar fine if he’s convicted.
