A man was arrested after allegedly tying to pursue a minor for sex on a dating app.

It happened in Jan. 3, when the South Bend Police Department were called to the 1100 block of East Dayton St. on reports of a man, 33-year-old Alex Holewczynski, trying to ask a child to engage in sexual activity.

When they arrived, they found the group, “Bikers Against Predators” trying to stop Holewczynski from talking to the child.

Bikers Against Predators say that they met Holewczynski on Grinder. The bikers were under an Alias, posing as a 15 year old girl named Aliyah. The two agreed to meet.

ABC 57 News reports that Holewczynski admitted he was looking to “fool around” with the person he was speaking to.

He was arrested on child solicitation.
