A 34-year-old man was shot in Elkhart.

It happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the Daylite Inn hotel in the 2800 block of Cassopolis Street, though the victim managed to get to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim told police he was shot outside of the rooms at the hotel.
