Four people injured in head-on crash on M-62 in Silver Creek Township

Four people were injured when two vehicles collided, head-on, on M-62, west of Pokagon Street, in Silver Creek Township.

The collision happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, when Cass County Sheriff’s investigators say a 36-year-old Noles man traveling eastbound crossed the center line and struck a westbound vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Three Rivers man.

Two people were transported to Crowell Health Lakeland Hospital, a third person was transported Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital. The fourth person hurt was transported by MedFlight to South Bend Memorial Hospital.

Police are still looking into factors that led to the crash.
