A man was found dead after a house fire in Benton Township and police are investigating the death as a homicide.

The man’s body was found in the home in the 1200 block of Coolidge Avenue on Saturday, March 11.

Firefighters entered the home and found a male unconscious inside. Police said the circumstances of the fire are “suspicious” and that’s why the death being investigated as a homicide.
