Plans are underway for a new housing development on the northern edge of Notre Dame’s campus.

WNDU says the project is being called The Northern Edge and will be happening on a 28.5-acre lot that is currently a blank campus canvas.

The site is at the northeast corner of the intersection of Douglas Road and State Road 933.

The site will likely put the total number of housing units at just under 1000 and is likely to include a parking garage.

More information is to come as the project plans progress.
