A man was barricaded inside a 2-story building on Ottawa Court in South Bend, on Thursday night, when police responded to a reported theft.

The individual had an active warrant, and the SWAT team detained the suspect in the home without any injuries after several hours.

The man was the only person inside, and all civilians evacuated the area as soon as officers arrived.
