One person dead, two others injured after shooting on Phillipa Street in South Bend

A triple shooting in South Bend left one person dead and two others injured.

Officers were called just after 9 p.m. to the 700 block of Phillipa Street on the report of shots fired.

The person who died is identified as Marlon Hudson, 25, of Gary. The other two victims are both women from South Bend, ages 22 and 28.

No word of what sparked the gunfire or any suspects or arrests.

The South Bend Police Violent Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.
