National Association of Realtors shows middle-income homeowners in South Bend area accumulated more than $45 thousand in wealth

New data from the National Association of Realtors shows middle-income homeowners in the South Bend-Mishawaka area accumulated more than $45,000 in wealth.
That, as their homes appreciated over the last 10 years. The data was featured prominently in the National Association Of Realtors new report, Wealth Gains by Income and Racial/Ethnic Group.
Nationwide, low-income owners were able to build nearly $99,000 in wealth, Middle-income buyers were able to accumulate $122,000 in wealth as their homes appreciated by 68%. And, Upper-income households have built $150,000.
