It’s 12 months probation for St. Joseph County, Michigan Sheriff Mark Lillywhite who pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges in connection to a drunken driving crash.

The collision happened back in February in Kalamazoo County.

According to police reports, Lillywhite was traveling around 100 miles per hour when he hit another vehicle.

His blood alcohol level registered more than three-times the legal limit.

He was charged with operating while intoxicated and carrying a weapon while intoxicated.

He’ll still be allowed to work as an officer of the law during his probation, but will not be allowed to carry a gun.

Wow. Nothing like a little confirmation bias. What a terrible person. Elected to keep people aafe instead he endangered everyone on the road that night. How can someone be in law enforcement and actively be a criminal?
